Placement Cell:
At Smt. Kapila Khandvala College of Education (Autonomous), we believe that teacher education is not just about preparing individuals for classrooms, but for purposeful careers that contribute to society. Established in 2005–06, the Placement Cell plays a pivotal role in guiding student-teachers toward meaningful employment opportunities and in strengthening the institution’s reputation for excellence in teacher education.
The Placement Cell has developed strong professional linkages with a wide network of reputed schools, junior colleges, international schools, and educational organizations. Each year, multiple institutions visit the college for formal campus recruitment drives, and many of our student-teachers receive more than one job offer, reflecting the confidence that schools place in KKCE graduates. In addition to on-campus placements, the Cell continuously shares off-campus opportunities and provides individualized support until students secure suitable positions.
To strengthen employability and professional readiness, the college provides knowledge and skill enhancement sessions throughout the year. These include workshops and experiential engagements in innovative pedagogy and lesson planning, technology-integrated and ICT-enabled teaching, professional communication and presentation skills, mental health and well-being awareness, inclusive and reflective teaching practices, and value-based and community-oriented education. Student-teachers also participate in clubs, seminars, cultural events, educational visits, certificate courses, and community work, enabling them to develop confidence, digital competence, perspective, and leadership qualities that extend beyond the curriculum.
Our graduates are known for their inclusive mindset, pedagogical depth, adaptability, and reflective practice, making them valued contributors in diverse educational settings. They are employed across well-established and respected institutions, including but not limited to:
…along with several other leading schools, junior colleges, and educational trusts.
In recent placement seasons, the highest salary packages offered to KKCE graduates have ranged up to ₹6–7 lakhs per annum, demonstrating the strong professional demand for our educators. The Placement Cell remains committed to ensuring that student-teachers begin their careers with confidence, clarity, and purpose—as educators who inspire, influence, and contribute meaningfully to society.
