Community Work

Community work is an integral part of teacher education. Teachers need to be aware of their moral obligation to engage in social reconstruction. The college collaborates with different organizations and places students in varied environments like working with the underprivileged sections of the society, mentally challenged children, environment centers for tree plantation, old age homes etc.

Our Centers

BalJeevan Trust has a mission to better the lives of Mumbai’s rag picking children. Their activities focus on dramatically improving the nutrition, education, health, and self-worth of the children they help. They try to ensure that these children do not remain emotionally, morally, or materially deprived; and look to transform their ‘threatened’ childhood and make it ‘safe’.
