Student Services

Additional services provided to our student teachers:

  1. English Language Enhancement Course: A language lab with Wordsworth software to learn and enhance four aspects of language i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing. Collaboration with Teach India Foundation for English Communication Skills training.
  2. Computer Laboratory: A fully equipped and functional computer lab and a wifi enabled campus with technical support to ensure that the students use their time in college more productively.
  3. Learning Management System: MOODLE LMS to enhance classroom instruction to bring variety in instruction and learning support.
  4. Mentoring Services: A robust mentoring mechanism through nurturing mentor-mentee relationships. Mentor-mentee interactions are done through one to one interactions as well as small group interactions.
  5. Tutorials and Remedial Programme: Round the year tutorial and semester end remedial sessions are conducted for better academic performance.
  6. CET Orientation: The faculty of the college conducts CET orientation every year for the aspiring students.
  7. Training Programmes: To keep our students abreast with the latest developments as well as better lessons through skill acquisition various training programmes such as smart boards, ICT integration, transactional analysis and topics pertaining to new developments in the field of teaching are conducted.
  8. CENTA/TET Certification:With TET certification now becoming almost mandatory, we now offer them training for the exam. We also encourage our students to go for CENTA teacher certification. Some of our students have been national toppers in this exam.
  9. Workshops and Guest Lectures: For holistic development of our students several experiences through workshops and guest lectures are provided that go beyond the prescribed curriculum viz. experiential education, positive education, performing arts in education, facing interviews, cyber-crime and many more.
  10. Photocopying Facility: An in-house photocopier is available to the students for their photocopying requirements.
